Lunar Terrain is an exploration of texture, material, and transformation. Through continuous experimentation with layering, glazing, and high-temperature firing, this vessel embraces the unpredictable nature of ceramics, allowing surfaces to emerge beyond deliberate control.
The experimental glaze builds naturally during firing, forming mineral deposits, fractured edges, and volcanic-like accumulations.
Primitive, untamed, and deeply tactile, this work celebrates ceramics as a process of discovery rather than control. The vessel becomes a record of experimentation—where repeated layering, firing, and material exploration create surfaces that feel ancient, rugged, and quietly otherworldly.
